The William Morris is in the heart of the Cotswolds
in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bibury is 7 miles from
Cirencester, more or less equidistant from the historic cities of
Bath, Oxford, and Cheltenham.
From the M4 and Swindon
From M4 (exit 15) and Swindon take the A419 towards Cirencester
and Gloucester. Take the exit signposted Cirencester/Stow and Burford.
Take the right hand exit B4425 signposted Burford and Bibury. Once
in Bibury follow the road down the hill following it right after
the bridge. We are 200m further along the road just before the road
turns left away from the river.
From the M5 and Gloucester
Take M5 (exit 11a) and take A417 towards Cirencester. When near
Cirencester take B4425 signed Burford and Bibury. Continue as in
the directions above.
M40 & Oxford
From Oxford and M40 take A40 west towards Cheltenham, turning left
on to B4425 towards Bibury 1 mile after passing Burford. Continue
for 7 miles until you reach the village of Bibury. Follow the road
until a sharp right hand corner when the river will be on your left.
The William Morris is 50m along on the right hand side opposite
the river.
